The South Asians in Media & Arts Foundation exists to educate children in under resourced communities, mentor the next generation of creative talent, empower experienced and retired creatives as mentors, and fiscally support South Asian led creative projects.

Through education, mentorship, and storytelling, we expand access to opportunity in film, television, digital media, music, theater, and the visual arts across India and the United States. Our mission is to build sustainable creative ecosystems where talent is discovered early, nurtured thoughtfully, and supported across an entire creative life cycle.

Our Board

Manasvi Mamgai is a producer, actor, and former Miss India, operating between Los Angeles and Mumbai. With over a decade of experience across film, television, theater, and modeling, she brings a dynamic global presence and a loyal international following. As a cultural bridge between Hollywood and Bollywood, Manasvi leverages her industry access and influence to connect talent, capital, and content across markets. Her passion for storytelling and philanthropy positions her as a compelling force at the intersection of entertainment and global impact.

Navneet S. Chugh is an Attorney-at-Law and CPA, and also holds an MBA. Chugh, LLP provides corporate, tax, litigation, and immigration services and has a staff of over 650 employees and has offices all over USA and India. He has been the founder of organizations like South Asian Bar Association of Southern California (SABA), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) So-Cal, and North American South Asian Bar Association (NASABA). He is/has been on the boards of organizations like American India Foundation, India Community Center (ICC), Pratham USA, and Akshay Patra

Navneet Chugh

Prabha Nailwal is a dedicated educator in India with over 15 years of experience teaching in Private, Public, and DAV schools across India. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master’s in English Literature, and a B.Ed, and has pursued her passion for creative writing through poetry and story writing. Trained in Yoga and Pranayama at Patanjali, she integrates holistic well-being into her teaching approach, inspiring students to grow academically, creatively, and personally.
